ONLINE LEARNING Virtual field trips and web quests.  How can they foster inquiry and extend learning?  Understand how distance learning can enhance instruction.

Does online work replace or supplement traditional displays like posters, or bulletin boards?

Examine and evaluate a variety of teaching and classroom management strategies for a computer lab or technology rich classroom (Course Competency 4)

Select one online activity for your class and create a lesson that incorporates the online activity for guided practice.

 

Use the Emints web site to:

1) Search the Site by Grade Level. and find an appropriate web resource activity.
TIP: Right click on the link and select "open in new window".
2) Test the activity.
3) Determine how you would use this for instruction.
4) Copy and paste the web link into email
5) Write a response that describes: 
     A-Why you selected this activity?
     B- What would be learned?
     C- Would the content be enough for an entire unit of instruction, a lesson or just part of a lesson?
     D- How would you assess students?
