Students will create at least 5 pages that adhere to the general guidelines below and conform to the basic elements of good design. All of your pages should use color to enhance not detract from the reading of your web page. Incorporate graphic elements (without going overboard) within your design. Do not choose large elements that slow down the loading of your page (this is called optimizing your web page).

Use Buttons, Bars, Icons, Graphics, A Banner, Animated GIFS, seamless backgrounds (using a graphic). Incorporating an attractive layout where elements do not overlap and are visually attractive to the visitor.

Have both text and graphical links. Include an email link to your email address. All links should have a description about the site or page you are linking to.

HOME PAGE (like a main menu for all your pages) You will have links for all your other pages available from your HOME PAGE.

Your home page should have a specific THEME (some hobby or interest that reflects you). This is where you could put an email link, an optional visitor counter or optional sound to play in the background.

WEB TOOLS PAGE This page will feature links to 5 great web tool sites where you can use online tools to enhance your web page. (ANIMATION SITES, BUTTON BUILDING SITES, BANNER MAKERS, FREE ICONS, FREE JAVASCRIPT, FREE APPLETS ECT..)

BIO PAGE (your biography and a picture of you) We will create this page with raw HTML code. This page will use a color background defined with code and display your bio information inside of a Table with a border. We will also use code to have a search engine on our page.

SEARCH ENGINE PAGE-A Page that will feature ten favorite search engines and a description about each search engine listed.

PERSONAL PAGE- Hypertext links to at least ten of your favorite web sites. You can start collecting your favorite links now and begin adding them to this page. You will need to include a description about each LINK and why you like that particular web site. Use this page to showcase your hobbies or interests/
